Good Market Info > Curation > Community Guidelines
The following Community Guidelines apply to feedback on profile pages and conversations in the Community area of the site.
Constructive: Good Market is a space for people who are actively working to create the type of world they want to live in. It is a space to talk about what we are for rather than what we are against. Feedback or conversations that only criticize or attack may be flagged. The focus should be on learning, improving, and developing creative solutions.
Respectful: Community members are expected to use respectful language at all times. Hate speech, personal insults, harassment, threats, prejudiced remarks, bigotry, and calls for violence are not permitted.
Relevant: Conversations should be related to creating an economic system that is good for people and good for the planet. Make sure your content is relevant before posting. Replies to a conversation should be relevant to the conversation topic. If you want to discuss a new topic, you can start a new conversation and invite the same participants to join. Feedback on a profile page should be relevant to that enterprise.
Non-Commercial: The Community area of the site is for non-commercial communication. It can be used to share experiences, ask questions, seek help, and organize free meet ups. If you want to promote a product, service, job opportunity, commercial events, or any other type of commercial activity, you should apply, become Good Market approved, and add an offer to the marketplace.
Genuine: The Good Market platform facilitates offline connections including real-life meet-ups, events, partnerships, and trade relationships. This requires trust and transparency. Community members should use the name they go by in everyday life and interact in an authentic and genuine manner.
Good Market reserves the right to remove content that the community flags as inappropriate. If a community member violates the community guidelines, they may be banned from further participation in the community.
