Good Market events are set up to be sustainable, but not profit-making. Stall fees are kept as low as possible to reduce the entry barrier for rural producers, small enterprises, and new businesses that are socially and environmentally responsible.
Stall payments are used to cover canopy rental, set-up, and take-down, electrical wiring, entertainment, promotional materials, bookkeeping, common facilities, metered electricity and water, equipment transport, communication, and coordination expenses.
Good Market approved enterprises can reserve stalls at the Saturday or Sunday Good Market by pre-paying for either 4 consecutive weeks or 12 consecutive weeks. Event rules are available here. Pre-payments can be made by cash, check or bank deposit. If you’d like to do a 1-day awareness program or charity fundraiser at the Good Market, please see the One Day Events page.
A full stall is 10 feet by 10 feet. A half stall is 5 feet by 10 feet. Stall display recommendations are available here. Tables and chairs are not included. There is no vehicle access during market hours.
Basic use of a single electrical plug (e.g. light, fan, phone, laptop) is included in the stall costs. Vendors with heavy electricity use (e.g. hot plates, fridges, freezers, or other equipment) pay a Rs. 500 electricity surcharge per day.
