GENOA supports learning and exchange through articles, videos, an online directory, training, consultancies, convergences, and bridging resources. They have developed ecovillage education materials specific to the Asia and Oceania region. GENOA follows sociocracy principles for governance and decision making. They promote gift culture and offer sliding scale rates so that lower income groups are able to participate in trainings, workshops, and events.

They can accommodate 85 people for residential programs and 100 for day programs. Seva Village Rests contributes to kids’ education and provides livelihood support to people with special needs.

Plasticcycle is a social enterprise initiative under the John Keells Group that aims to serve as a catalyst and significantly reduce plastic pollution in Sri Lanka. In partnership with the Sri Lanka Recyclers Association, Plasticcycle has placed specially designed recycling bins throughout Colombo to support responsible disposal of bags, bottles, cups, jars, and other recyclable plastics. Bin locations are available on the Plasticcycle website. Plasticcyle also educates the public on the impacts of plastic waste and works with individuals and businesses to change purchasing patterns and reduce plastic consumption.
