Revolution Workshop creates a consistent pipeline of skilled workers for construction employers facing labor shortages. Graduates work within Revolution Workshop or get connected with employer partners and continue receiving employment support, financial guidance, and connections to external resources. Revolution Workshop provides free or discounted services to mission-aligned community-based organizations and nonprofits, particularly for projects that directly benefit underserved communities. Højhuset Kulturhotel

Herning, Denmark

Højhuset Kulturhotel preserves the facilities and the community spirit of a 1960s folk high school in Herning, Denmark. They offer accommodation, meeting rooms, a dining hall, theater hall, lecture hall, and other shared spaces. Højhuset Kulturhotel organizes events, guided tours, art walks, creative workshops, and other cultural activities for hotel guests and locals. Their organic farm is run in collaboration with Landeriet, an educational, living, and day program for young people with autism. The dining hall uses organic, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients and offers weekly communal meals that begin with a song from the folk high school songbook. Højhuset Kulturhotel was renovated with reused materials to preserve its history but upgraded to include water and energy-efficient fixtures. They harvest rainwater, compost, minimize waste, and recycle. Højhuset Kulturhotel is a Registered Social Economic Enterprise (RSV) and has a Silver Organic Dining Label and Green Key certification. They are a member of Sociale Entreprenører i Danmark and Bæredygtig Herning.

De Tweede Jeugd

Amsterdam, Netherlands

De Tweede Jeugd produces ready-made toasted sandwiches, combats food waste, and provides meaningful employment for vulnerable groups through their production kitchen in Amsterdam. Their toasted sandwiches are made by hand from local, rescued, and responsibly sourced ingredients and sold frozen to commercial partners and retail customers across the Netherlands. De Tweede Jeugd uses leftover sourdough bread from local bakers for sandwiches, crostinis, and croutons and partners with Bakkerij Fermento to produce Dubbel Gebakken circular bread, which contains 20 percent leftover bread. They are PSO 30+ certified, which means at least 30 percent of their employees are from vulnerable employment positions and were either long-term unemployed or faced other barriers.
